lyrics
Ashamed of having years of depression
Went to school but never got lessons
Anxiety with the teachers
Deep in my mind like a southern preacher
When the sentimental feelings became few
Feeling less and less of a person
Punching walls to deal with aggression
I'M A BOY!
I'll put make up on if I want too
Wear a dress just to shake things up
It's only the mind that keeps you dull
Spit words when I speak with my mouth full
And if you catch us coming over your way
Grinding our teeth to the musical tension
Feeling less and less of a person
Punching walls to teach them a lesson.
I'M A BOY!
Big house
Nice wife
Big dog
Nice life
*Jumble*
Dizziness of freedom starts in the bedroom
When you feel you can't give enough
Every smoke feels like the last one
As if the future can't be bleak enough.
And when the world starts to sit in motion
the faces you see every day turn to dust
Feeling less and less of a person
Punching walls just to feel something

Unlike anything I've heard before in it's own distinction. Raw, heavy and ultimately cathartic to listen to. Love finding new music that speaks to a part of me that I didn't know was there, which Chalk's discography is a keen example of. Wonderful local talent I wish I had been recommended sooner. mattdav
